A popular Gynaecologist & Obstetrician of the Twin Cities. She served in government service from 1978 to 1993, working at the Tuberculosis Centre, Government Maternity Hospital, and Gandhi Hospital. She has set up Vijaya Health Care Hospital in 1993, Vijaya School of Nursing and College in 2003 & 2006 under the aegis of VHC Academic Society. She has also trained in Geriatric Medicine and has been the present General Secretary of Sathya Sadhana Foundation since 2002.
