Kaki Madhava Rao, IAS (Retd.) is a former Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and a veteran civil servant with a career spanning several decades. A graduate in Economics from Andhra University, he joined the IAS in 1962 and held key roles such as District Collector, Director of Social Welfare, and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. He also served as State Election Commissioner, Advisor to the Governor of Bihar, and Director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India.
He currently leads several social initiatives, including as Chairman of Sadhikaratha Foundation and President of the Institute of Public Enterprise. A published author and translator, he has contributed to Telugu literature and written extensively on economics and public finance.
